Launcher updates take just a few minutes and provide improvements and new features for your Quest. You can install an available update through Admin Settings or directly from an update notification.
Before You Begin
Make sure your Quest is connected to Wi-Fi.
Install an Update Through Admin Settings
- Open Admin Settings.
- Enter your Admin PIN.
- Select Cloud.
- Select Install Launcher Updates.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Install an Update From a Notification
When a launcher update is available, a notification will appear on the device.
- Tap the Launcher Update notification.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
Keep Quest powered on while the update is being installed. Once installation is complete, the device will be ready to use with the latest launcher version.
